granola bars

These are soft and chewy bars.  I combined a few recipes I saw to make these.  Next time I might add less honey and something other than raisins, such as coconut flakes, sunflower seeds, or slivered almonds.  Something not as sweet as raisins, but that's a personal preference.

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups oats (I used the minute-cook Quaker oats)
1/2 cup raisins

Stir together wet ingredients.

Toss in dry ingredients and stir.

Spread in a greased 8"x8" pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  The bars will be chewy, slightly sweet, and free of preservatives, colorings, etc.

Package in individual pieces of wax paper or small ziplock bags or store in an airtight container for about a week.

I cannot wait to try some varieties without peanut butter.  These will make great snacks!
